Noyon supports the MAS Group in achieving an 80% reduction in absolute greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030, compared to the 2019 baseline. This target reflects our shared responsibility to act in line with the latest climate science and limit global warming to 1.5 °C above pre-industrial levels.

1. Energy Efficiency and Carbon Reduction

Noyon systematically reduces energy consumption through the implementation of Energy Management Systems. Continuous monitoring and optimization of energy performance across utilities and production processes—such as air compressors, HVAC systems, dyeing machines, and stenters have resulted in significant improvements in energy intensity and reduced Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions.

2. Transition to Renewable Energy

To further decarbonize operations, Noyon is progressively integrating renewable energy sources, including solar PV systems and sustainably sourced biomass for thermal energy generation. These initiatives directly contribute to reducing dependency on fossil fuels and align with the global Science-Based Target pathways toward net-zero operations.

3. Innovation of Low-Carbon Production through Planetones

Under the Planetones initiative, Noyon is pioneering bio-based and low-carbon dyeing technologies, replacing fossil-derived chemicals with natural, plant-based alternatives. This innovation minimizes process energy demand and lowers the overall carbon footprint of fabric processing, contributing to Scope 3 emission reduction and advancing sustainable textile manufacturing.
